Laporan, emotion-focused coping, dan atribut.

Ceritanya hari ini saya dan teman kampus, si Putauw, berencana mengerjakan laporan bersama. Atas nama deadline dan dalam rangka emotion-focused coping, kami teguhkan niat untuk bisa menyelesaikan setidaknya satu laporan dan revisi agar bisa dibawa bimbingan ke kampus. Nah, mulailah kami mengkonkretkan rencana dengan janjian bertemu di Gandaria City.

Saya sampai duluan, si Putauw kemudian menyusul. Kami kebingungan menentukan tempat, yang makanannya enak dan yang terpenting ada COLOKAN buat laptop. Hmmm... karena kami lagi sangat ingin makan sushi, maka kami memutuskan untuk mencoba ke Sushi Tei, bertanya apakah ada colokan dan melihat kemungkinan kami untuk bekerja di sana. Ternyata ada dan bisa! Yeay banget! Kami dapat tempat di pojokan yang ada colokannya. Sebelumnya, saya dan Putauw belum pernah pergi makan berdua begini. Ternyata, kebiasaan makan di Sushi Tei kami berbeda. Saya terbiasa memesan semangkok besar Sashimi Salad, yang bisa saya habiskan sendiri, dan si Putauw biasanya memesan berbagai variasi makanan yang dimakan ramai-ramai. Akhirnya, saya tetap memesan Sashimi Salad dan Putauw memesan paket sushi warna-warni dalam satu sajian. Hehehehehehe. Si Mackie, laptop saya yang dari rumah baterenya sudah ngekngok, saya charge dulu. Maksudnya.. sambil nunggu ngecharge, kami mengobrol seputaran dunia laporan dan prokrastinasi. Pembicaraan mengenai gangguan prokrastinasi akut yang kami berdua alami memang tidak ada habisnya *iyes salah satunya ya yang sedang terjadi ini. Niatan mengerjakan laporan tapi malah memilih tempat makan enak dan ngobrol*. Beranjak dari pembicaraan mengenai laporan dan prokrastinasi, topik mulai merembet kemana-mana. Akhirnya, sampailah mengenai "Intimate relationship". Si Putauw gadis cerdas ini, melontarkan sebuah pertanyaan yang menohok, menikam tajam, dan menampar yang kemudian proses pencarian jawabannya membuka hati saya. *Laporan dilupain, lebih enak diskusi, dasar you prokras girls!

Putauw : Coba deh lo bayangin, kalo Nanda tidak dengan segala atribut yang menempel pada dirinya seperti sekarang ini, apa lo masih mau sama dia? I mean.. lo cuma ngeliat personality-nya. Lepas dari penampilan fisik, gaya berpakaian, mobil yang dia pake, orangtua, dll.

Me : Hmm.. *mikir.mikir.mikir* Mau. Gue cukup tau kualitas pribadinya. Gue yakin tau karena gue ngeliat dia mulai dari nol untuk bisa sampe sekarang. Kami pacaran 2 tahun, dulu waktu masih sama-sama kuliah. Pas jaman kuliah, gue tau lowest point dia, proses dia mulai naik, sampe akhirnya lulus. Pas udah lulus, gue tau tu hiruk pikuk dia nyari kerja, ke sana kemari kirim lamaran, beberapa dipanggil seleksi, ga ada yang cocok sampe akhirnya dapet kerja. Dia kerja di sebuah perusahaan yang bikin dia ga happy karena beban kerja dan penghargaannya ga sebanding. Trus.. nyari kerja lagi, seleksi sana sini, sampe dia dapet kerjaan ini yang kalo menurut gue oke banget dan dia bisa berprestasi di sini.

Putauw : *nodding*

Me : Gue tau kenapa dia bisa begitu. Semua karena hasil kerja kerasnya sendiri. Di situ ada ambisi, usaha, pengaturan diri, perencanaan, daya tahan terhadap stress, dan resiliensi. Gue bahkan tau tema hidup dia apa *bener-bener baru ngeh pas diskusi ini* KOMITMEN. Nanda itu orang paling commited yang gue kenal. Yang paling gampang ya contohnya.. kalo dia punya ambisi, dia kejar itu apa yang dia pengen sampe dapet, dia set goals dan timeline dengan jelas. Dia dapet, dia happy. Begitu tercapai, bikin goals lagi. Dia ga akan berhenti sampe dia dapet dan begitu terus sejauh yang gue kenal. Walaupun begitu, dia ga keliatan ngoyo. Dia tetep bisa santai dan menikmati hidup. Ini terjadi dalam setiap aspek kehidupannya ya kerjaan ya relationship.

Putauw : oo i see..

Semangkok Sashimi Salad, sepiring sushi warna warni, dan bergelas-gelas ocha habis, kami beranjak dari Sushi Tei menuju J.Co. Kali ini niat yang lebih besar untuk mengerjakan laporan dibawa ke J.Co. Sambil jalan kami mampir ke beberapa toko *see.. penyakit banget khan* Kami jalan-jalan sekitar setengah jam sampai akhirnya nangkring di J.Co dengan selamat. Saya langsung pesan large size hot cappuccino, dengan niatan biar bisa melek dan konsen sama laporan. Yess! Di J.Co kami berdua berhasil terdiam terpaku menghadap laptop masing-masing dan mengetik. Fokus sekali bagus banget deh sampai akhirnya si Putauw menyampaikan niatnya untuk ke Lotte Mart, membeli beberapa keperluan masak. Iyess, ini anak lagi keranjingan masak gara-gara nonton Top Chef Masters. Kami mengobrol sedikit sampai akhirnya Nanda datang. Yeay! Si ganteng baik hati botak seksi ini memang udah janji mau ngejemput! Hehehehehehe.

Sejam berlalu, kami memutuskan untuk pulang. Sebelum pulang kami mampir ke Lotte Mart dan Ace Hardware. Berkeliling Ace Hardware selalu membuat saya happy. Sampai akhirnya kami mendarat di bagian wallpapers. Hadeuuh racun banget! Ada sticker gambar chandelier gitu lucu banget, special prize pulak! Pengeeeeen! trus si Putauw juga liat yang gambar kursi antik lucu banget. Kami liat-liatan sambil mupeng gitu mukanya. Trus saya ngelirik ke Nanda yang udah pasang tampang “udah ambil aja, aku tau kamu pengen khan sayang” HAHAHAHA! LANGSUNG ANGKUT CHOONG! Si Putauw juga ga pake bakbikbuk langsung angkut itu stiker kursi antik yang rencananya mau ditempel di ruangan kerjanya. hihihihihi. HAPPY!

Kami pun masing-masing pulang. Karena ini perut sudah tidak bisa kompromi, mampirlah saya dan Nanda ke Mie Aceh Tanah Kusir yang enaknya gila-gilaan itu. Kami pesan mie aceh biasa pakai telor dadar dan roti cane keju susu. Semua dimakan sepiring berdua. Hehehehe! Heran banget ini bumbunya apa bisa enak banget begini deh! Puas makan.. kami melanjutkan perjalanan pulang. Di dalam mobil, saya bertanya hal yang sama Putauw tanya ke saya tadi siang..

Me : Yaang.. kalo misalnya Uti ga pake semua atribut ini, apa kamu masih mau sama Uti?

Nanda : *mikir.mikir.mikir* mau

Me : Kenapa?

Nanda : Selama ini aku ngeliat kamu tidak dengan atribut apapun. I love you just the way you are with all the uniqueness. Kamu yang fighting spiritnya gede that inspires me and how you represent yourself apa adanya ga dibuat-buat.

Me : JAWABAN DITERIMA! *pelukpeluk*

Gandaria City

Sore kemarin, saya berempat teman kecil jalan-jalan sore ke Gandaria City. Rencana awalnya sih pokoknya pergi berempat biar bisa curhat, makan enak, nonton, dan liat-liat keliling mall. Mall ini kalo diliat dari luar emang ya segitu-segitu aja. Tapi kalo udah masuk di dalemnya, beeeuh luaaaas banget! Kalo diliat-liat, mall ini perpaduan antara gayanya Senayan City dan Grand Indonesia. Atmospherenya enak, parkiran luas, isi mall udah lengkap, dan yang jelas pilihan makanannya banyak. Oiya, di Eat&Eat ada sate ayam, pempek, dan tahu telor enaaaak banget. Seruseruseru!

k.o.n.d.a.n.g.a.n

Me and Nanda attended a wedding held in Century Hotel, Senayan. I had tried to apply more and more dark grey eyeshadow on my kelopak mata and had tons of eye liner and mascara to get the smokey eyes look but i guess i wasn't successfull. I am satisfied enough with the result tho. ..and fyi, i did it in the car. Me and Nanda went to Mall Ambassador siangnya. Nanda had been looking for the perfect headphones till he met Superlux. He tried and bought it. He had doing some researches on this before, he religiously visits this forum called Audiophile, discussing all the audio things. I have to admit that he is a smart shopper. He has to convince himself that he gets the perfect one and analyze the satisfactory level. Yes, he is a guy with so muuuuchhhh thoughts.

Then, we went strolling down the mall and went into a small store. There's a box of headphones at -not so expensive- yet affordable price, called Altic. He tried it, played many songs, trance ones, yes he loves jedagjedug songs. He likes it. I tried it too. Surprisingly, it produces bombastis sound. Nanda ga langsung beli cos he thought that he had already spent tooooo much rupiah that day. Then he took me jalan-jalan while thinking so hard, whether he would buy it or not. He looked so confused. Hahahahaha. Me? provokatorin dong,, "Udah beli aja sayang suaranya bombastis loh". He took me back to that store again and.. jengjengjeng! He bought it. He bought two headphones in a row! Hahaha. He had saved his money for this. I am super glad he's satisfied with the headphones. Dia penggila musik. Yes, dia pengGILA musik.

Quickie sushi with my lovely besties

I got a compliment from one of my close friend, Ms Anindya, for pulling my hair back like that. She said i was pretty, a look of trully javanese girl, cantik nampak kalem. But then, she said that it was a total different of me, biasanya i act like Marsupilami. grrrrrr.....

Beer-o-logy

Yesterday, i met up with some of my childhood friends from TK Strada. It started with three of us chatted recalling our childhood memories, such as.. who's the most annoying among us, the grumpy one, the crybaby one, etc.. ended up mocking and bukabuka aib temennya. fun tho! Then we decided to arrange meeting up. We sent out the invitations via facebook and bbm. We planned on having this small reunion in Bremer, Kemang. Its Gideon idea to hold it there. Padahal lagi bulan Ramadhan dikala orang-orang berpuasa. and yes, we still do maksiat things on this holy month.

The day.. There were about 30 o us gathered around. We had lots of our pictures taken. Let the pictures speak themselves..

Jalanjalanasik!17an

Me and Nanda went strolling down Lippo Supermall celebrating Indonesia's independence day. I love the day when me and Nanda put our working matters behind and berleha-leha jalan-jalan sana-sini asik-asik gitu. I bought my self a pair of new sepatu seksi and Nanda a new not so pink suit. He said that the new suit he bought would be perfect for shorts. ooh okay emang doyannya lo aje pake celana pendek toog.. haha! Sorenya, we met Gogon and were introduced to his friends. Yeaay i got some new friends! We're chitchating nongkrong nongkrong asik di Planet Noodle. hehehe.. been so sleepy me and Nanda ordered kopi susu from Lau's Kopitiam. huuu i've been craving for kopitehnya Ya Kun Kaya Toast belom kesampean deh.

Malemnya, me and Nanda had The Expendables. We're so penasaran. I'm a bit dissapointed deh.. why Bruce Willis mainnya cuma sekedipan mata? ga enak ga enak ga enak! dia itu kenapa seksi banget deh?! I need to watch Armageddon like ASAP so that i can pamper my eyes watching my idol Bruce Willis. Handsomehandsomehansome

Overall, i love today!

One of my bestfriends, Raika Satari gonna get diploma of make up in Melbourne, Australia. Rere is my college mate in UI. She took psychology major too, just as i am. But then, she realized that psychology matter is not her thing. Her biggest passion is to be a professional make up artist. She pursue her dream and go to Melbourne. She's gonna be in this program for the next 1,5 years.

We held a modest yet intimate farewell party for her in The Apartment, Kuningan.

Jakarta Toy Fair 2009

Last Sunday, Nanda and si monyet took me to Jakarta Toy Fair 2009. Attending toy fair brings out child side of me. I'm a very young girl at heart actually. Sometimes, i view my world as a playground where a little girl can learn many things she wants to. I realize then, i would never move on from this side of me. To be honest, i love being a little girl. Well, but everyone has to move on from their comfort zone, right?!

..and for now, i love to see my self as a big girl, striving to be a grown-up woman. hihihi.. who enjoys every second of her life learning that life isn't easy to deal, yet considering it -still- as a playground which is physically challenging and fun place to hang around.

Mr. A-Z grooved Jakarta

Jason Mraz performed spectacular in the Java Jazz 2009 event. Not only he sang with his beautiful voice but also entertained audiences with his unique body language, very groovy! Nothing more to say, he was amazing! I wish i could have more and more of his performance.

Java Jazz 2009 = exciting! Unfortunately, there were lack of services provided in. Started buying tickets on line, ticket redeemed, until the event itself. My impression about Java Jazz 2009 is not well organized:
1. Suddenly, online ticket purchasing was temporarilly closed. Made in early January, Jason Mraz was scheduled would perform on Friday. But then, they informed he would also perform on Saturday with longer duration. Me and Nanda already bought tickets for Friday. If we knew earlier that Jason Mraz would also perform on Saturday, we'd rather buy tickets for Saturday. huh!
2. Queuing system was bad. Started from tickets redeemed at The Sultan (there's only one ticket box and few officers) until the concert hall. all we had to do is QUEUING.

Fortunately, i met some friends there. All my regret washed away because of them. We had fun there, laughing! as always.. hihihihi

Weekender's Agenda

For this weekend, i already have plans on attending:

• Java Jazz 2009 *so excited* Jason Mraz, my favorite singer ever!!, will perform in that event
  
• "Bazaar Mancanegara Pensiunan Pegawai Departemen Luar Negeri" located in somewhere at Senayan
• Toy Exhibition (somewhere at Senayan too, don't know where the exact location) with my si monyet and Nanda
• Glodok.. boys' business actually.. si monyet and Nanda have same hobby which is.. modifying miniature cars. They're gonna buy the materials there. Cool hobby tho!

Hopefully all the plans i've made gonna go well *fingers cross*

Birthday boy had H.A.P.P.Y hours

Last Saturday si monyet celebrated his birthday in Hanamasa Restaurant by having close friends around. I still can't believe that he turned 18 that day, so proud of him though. I still can recall how we went through our younger years playing silly games, laughing together all the time, and making fun of our mom. hahaha..

Yesterday, i went to a movie with Nanda & si monyet. We watched Yes Man. It's funny and insightful movie. I laughed so hard during the movie. About the casts.. hmmm... Jim Carrey, nothing more to say.. he's a great great comedian. ..and Zooey Deschanel= a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e!!! I love her character in this movie. She plays bohemian kinda girl with a free spirit soul. They both were great in the movie..

Instead of the funny parts and the casts, here are some insights i got from this movie:

Brought in the New Year, i spent it with beloved ones.. We attended an event in 3 Degress Club, FX.

Me and my besties decided to dress up in the same tone of color, which was black. But hey, take a look at me then.. i wore red.. it's not because i didn't get the memo, hahaha.. i thought it would be nice to start first day of the year with something daring. of course, my friends cursed me because of that.

We had so much fun celebrating new years eve together. Words can't explain how thankful i am for my life has been surrounded by wonderful people that i love love love... it's a bliss!

A real quick getaway

Going out with my besties always be my favorite thing to do. It was so relieving yesterday when i met up with my besties. It's a real quick getaway to help re-energize and refresh myself from all the skripshit things i've been through lately. We went to ITC Fatmawati to buy some DVDs and went to PIM 2 to grab some sushi.
