Vivelle VCO and Lip Ice

This is my first time reviewing beauty products i use daily. I want to share my experience on using Vivelle VCO and Olive oil body lotion and Lip Ice Mentholatum Lip balm.

Vivelle VCO and Olive oil body lotion

I bought it simply because it has big VCO sign written on the bottle. Were so curious then i tested it on my hand, nice smell and, surprisingly, it moisturizes great. It’s actually been over a week i’ve been using this Vivelle body lotion. It contains virgin coconut oil and olive oil. 1st impression, It has that perfumey smell but doesn't last long. It doesn't feel too sticky either. My skin feels soft and supple. I LOVE IT!

Lip Ice Mentholatum Lip balm

It is a moisturizing lip balm that has SPF for basic UV protection. This lip balm does a good job of preventing chapped lips. I swipe a bit of this on my lips before i put on lipstick and apply it whenever my lips chap. It's okay but not the one that i expected. Still looking for the perfect one. any idea?

Happy mother's day

Today's mother's day here in Indonesia. As for me and mom, we have mother-daughter's day like everyyydaaayyyy. We celebrate love everyday with all those sayang-sayangan moments, fights, and make-ups. Then i may say that my mom is greatest mom ever, at least for me. She takes good care of me and always believes in me. I wonder how did you find the energy, Maam? to do all the greatest things in my life..

I may not understand you on some things but i know that you're only doing what you know is right for me.

Shu Uemura Beauty Workshop

Sabtu kemarin, saya dan beberapa teman mengikuti beauty workshop yang diselenggarakan Shu Uemura di Mal Taman Anggrek. Seru deh! Beautician yang memandu kami namanya mas Hendrix. SUPERB! Canggih banget deh ni orang. Keliatan emang ini passionnya! Dia mengajarkan beberapa teknik dasar make up yang applicable, gampang, dan hasilnya mengagumkan. Beberapa teknik tersebut antara lain:

1. Untuk jenis kulit berminyak, foundation yang digunakan adalah yang liquid. Cara aplikasi adalah dengan diusap dari arah bawah ke atas hingga merata.

2. Untuk meng-cover noda bekas jerawat, gunakan foundation dengan warna sama atau satu tingkat lebih tua, yang di-tap hanya di beberapa spot noda.

3. Setelah itu, sapukan bedak tabur dengan kuas dari arah atas ke bawah hingga merata. Kenapa dianjurkan pakai kuas? supaya hasilnya tidak menggumpal pada spot tertentu di wajah.

4. Untuk memberikan kesan mata lebih dramatis dan deep, gunakan eyeliner biru tua, di bagian dalam garis mata atas. Baru kemudian gariskan eyeliner hitam di kelopak mata bagian bawah.

5. Aplikasi eyeshadow dari ujung mata luar ke arah dalam kelopak mata. Gunakan tone lebih tua untuk kemudian ditimpal dengan warna yang lebih muda. Highlight dibawah alis ujung luar, makin ke dalam makin tipis.

6. Shading diberikan satu garis pada tulang pipi, dari arah ujung tulang dekat telinga hingga ujung pipi.

7. Blush on disapukan segaris di atas garis shading. Kemudian dalam keadaan tersenyum sapukan blush on lagi di pipi.

8. Terakhir.. pake lipstik deh!

Si Hejo a.k.a mbak Dita akhirnya menikah dengan pemuda pujaan hatinya. Super happy for them. Sedikit banyak saya tahu tentang hirukpikuk kehidupan berpacaran mereka ini. Soalnya kami sering bertukar pikiran.. biasanya, pertanyaan yang muncul adalah "Kapan gue dilamar ya?!", "Sebenernya ukuran kesiapan mereka (para lelaki) itu apa ya?", "Nunggu apa sih dia, kok kaya ga ada tanda-tanda pengen nikahin gue deh?!" We ended manyun bersama then. Your questions have been answered mbak Ditaaaaa! HAHAHAHAHA! Hebatnya, mereka sempat menjalani LDR yang kalau menurut saya pengorbanannya juga ga sedikit. Makanya saya happy banget pas tahu akhirnya mbak Dita, yang konon ngebet banget pengen dinikahin, akhirnya bisa jadi nyonya Metharani *parade*.

Me and Nanda attended a wedding held in Century Hotel, Senayan. I had tried to apply more and more dark grey eyeshadow on my kelopak mata and had tons of eye liner and mascara to get the smokey eyes look but i guess i wasn't successfull. I am satisfied enough with the result tho. ..and fyi, i did it in the car. Me and Nanda went to Mall Ambassador siangnya. Nanda had been looking for the perfect headphones till he met Superlux. He tried and bought it. He had doing some researches on this before, he religiously visits this forum called Audiophile, discussing all the audio things. I have to admit that he is a smart shopper. He has to convince himself that he gets the perfect one and analyze the satisfactory level. Yes, he is a guy with so muuuuchhhh thoughts.

Then, we went strolling down the mall and went into a small store. There's a box of headphones at -not so expensive- yet affordable price, called Altic. He tried it, played many songs, trance ones, yes he loves jedagjedug songs. He likes it. I tried it too. Surprisingly, it produces bombastis sound. Nanda ga langsung beli cos he thought that he had already spent tooooo much rupiah that day. Then he took me jalan-jalan while thinking so hard, whether he would buy it or not. He looked so confused. Hahahahaha. Me? provokatorin dong,, "Udah beli aja sayang suaranya bombastis loh". He took me back to that store again and.. jengjengjeng! He bought it. He bought two headphones in a row! Hahaha. He had saved his money for this. I am super glad he's satisfied with the headphones. Dia penggila musik. Yes, dia pengGILA musik.
